Operations Co-ordinator

Job Type: Full-time (5 days a week) Monday – Friday (37hours a week)

9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday
9am to 4.30pm Friday
(30 min lunch break each day)

Location: WT Laminates Offices, Showroom & Workshop - Newport

Salary: £11.75 per hour - dependant on experience (company bonus scheme is available)

Description:

As the company's Operations Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our office and management team, ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations & development of our businessThis role varies from day to day and would suit someone who is multi-talented in a number of disciplines, with a strong administration background.

To perform this role to a high-standard, you will need excellent organisation, communication and prioritisation skills. Interacting with customers is a key part of the role, so strong professionalism is also important in this position.

We're a small family business, so it's important you are proactive, with a positive attitude toward taking on various responsibilities, and that you're happy to work independently.

 

Responsibilities lay under a number of areas..

Administration:

Answer phone calls and respond to enquiry emails / other stakeholder emails
Admin tasks as allocated by Management - e.g. ordering items for projects, sending progress & completion emails, supporting communication with customers via varied methods, project management tasks.
Support the smooth running of day-to-day operations
Show customers around the showroom
Perform project based admin work
Perform other admin tasks as needed
Oversee customer journey to ensure smooth completion of their order.

 

Marketing:

Create/update web pages & develop opportunities.
Design and proof-read advertisements for online & magazine distribution.
Assist with customer enquiries using online chat platform.
Maintain showroom to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

Proven strong experience in administration/operations roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in thKBB industry would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Experience with KBB software would be preferred but is not essential.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
High level of attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks effectivelyand take initiative whilst working in a customer focussed, fast-paced environment is essential.
