We were established in 1974 and for the past thirty three years we have specialised in supplying high quality laminate worktops  and laminate sheet materials.

 

WT Laminates has the biggest range of worktops in South East Wales, we supply  Formica Axiom, Formica Prima, Duropal, Resopal, Omega, Oddyssey, Nuance and many more leading brands. Many are in stock and if they are not  most can be ordered for the next working day.

We also offer worktop and laminate manufacturing services such as cutting, Butt & Scribe joints (also known as invisible joints) and Edging. These are carried on our premises. This service is available to both the public and trade*.

 

There are two different categories of people who tend to purchase worktops from us, those who are buying a brand new kitchen (or bathroom) and don’t want to settle for the bog standard choice of worktop their kitchen supplier is offering. This very often consists of a choice of maybe 15-20 worktops and no facility to customise them to your needs. As opposed to us where we can offer over 1000 different combinations that can be shaped and jointed to your requirements.

 

The other category is those people who want to improve their current kitchen by simply changing their worktop. This is particularly common with kitchens that have a high gloss worktop that is now showing the scratches and marks. We do stock but do not recommend high gloss work surfaces for a kitchen as although they look good they tend to mark very easily. (whereas in a bathroom they are ideal). It is very easy to change your existing worktops and can be a very inexpensive way to change your kitchen. If you choose upstands for example you do not even have to replace your tiles.

 

We stock a large range of laminates including leading brands such as Formica. We offer manufacturing services such as making panels, kickboards etc.

 

One growing area of our business is bathroom and shower panelling. This is very competitive and much easier to clean than tiles.

 

 

We will accept credit card telephone orders but strongly recommend you visit our showroom to make sure you choose the right product. Samples in magazines and on line do not reflect the true colour or texture. We will allow you to borrow samples to view in your house and can arrange to have samples sent to your house free of charge if required.

 

If you cannot find the exact size or style you require we would be happy to make a worktop, splashback, upstand, panel or whatever you require to your exact requirements. The choice of patterns we have is almost endless.
